Be innovative. Be entertaining. Be part of the CAB Crew!

What is CAB Crew?

CAB Crew is designed to allow all Washburn students the opportunity to be involved with CAB at any point throughout the school year. The purpose of CAB Crew is to assist the programming board in developing and executing successful programs on campus.

CAB Crew also provides training for members who wish to learn more about CAB and event planning before applying for a full-time or assistant directorship in April.

What do I do in CAB Crew?

First and foremost, have fun! CAB Crew isn't designed to be another activity you "have" to do . CAB Crew is a group that you WANT to be part of. You'll volunteer WHEN YOU HAVE TIME. If you can't help with an event. That's fine! We'll ask you the next time. As a CAB Crew member you'll gain a valuable insight into event planning and organizing on Washburn's campus. You might be asked to help develop advertising for an event or even greet a performer when they arrive. CAB Crew introduces you to CAB. How involved you want to be is up to you!

What are the benefits of being a CAB Crew Member?

Students who are involved in CAB Crew have the opportunity to develop a number of professional, leadership and life skills. From creating promotional material to pitching a programming idea and executing it through to the end, all of these skills can be applied outside of CAB Crew in the community, work place or your daily life. On top of that, CAB Crew members receive priority seating at CAB events, a limited edition CAB Crew t-shirt and the chance to work with amazing performers.

Where do I get my application?

You can pick up your application outside of the CAB Office in the Lower Level of the Memorial Union. Please return it to the Student Activities and Greek Life Office.
