The Campus Activities Board (CAB) consists of five committees. These committees are headed up by directors who report to the Executive Director. You can
join any committee to help make an impact on campus. These committees do
everything from choosing and planning events to advertising them.

| COMMUNITY & PHILANTHROPY PROGRAMS |
The purpose of the Committee is to plan signature events for CAB that include, but are not limited to Welcome Weekend, student activities fairs (called “The Fair!”), Family Day participation, Homecoming participation, Halloween Tour, Final Exam Breakfast Breaks, Valentine’s activities, Easter Egg Hunt, etc.

| LIVE MUSIC |
The purpose of the Committee is to bring a variety of musical talent to Washburn University. Events include, but are not limited to football tailgating festivities, Tunes@Noon, Rock the Lawn, etc.

| TALKS & TOPICS |
The purpose of the Committee is to bring diverse speakers and topics to campus in an effort to expand the horizons of the Washburn community.

| VARIETY & ENTERTAINMENT |
The purpose of the Committee is to plan a potpourri of events that include, but are not limited to movies, comedians, hypnotists, illusionists, caricaturists, novelty acts (e.g., wax hands, inflatables, etc.), interactive entertainment, etc.
